Hello, I am actually using ENVI to manipulate some PALSAR datasets. I can load and display them flawlessly with the "open external files" menu.    My problem begins when I have tried to use the "basic tools/resize data (spatial and spectral)" function. When I start this function, it displays properly the window to choose the dataset, but then the second window "Resize Data Parameters" is blank, I mean there is nothing displayed inside, it's completely grey and nothing happens, there is just the title of the bar.  I am going through the exact same issue when I try to use the "import to IDL variable", it displays the window to choose the dataset and the next window "choose a variable name" is blank too.  Is that a well known issue? I am unable to find some keywords to match some relevant posts, I will appreciate any help to solve this issue.   Thank you,  David

This sounds like it could be a graphics driver issue.  Try renaming or moving the gl_driver.so located in the bin.linux.x86 (or x86_64) and relaunch ENVI.  Does this help?

Good news, I have updated to 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) and I do not have the problem anymore, I think you were right and the update has fixed by itself the graphic driver issue.  Thank you for your support,  David Ganem
