Good morning all, When I export an Aster scene as a Geotif, and import it into ArcMap, the image is flipped. Features that were formerly in the northeast are now in the southwest etc. Coordinate info is WGS84, SUTM55. The same Geotif file is correctly displayed in applications such as ER Viewer and MapInfo; Geotif's from other sources display correctly in ArcMap, so I suspect that there is something in the way Envi creates a Geotif that is causing the problem in ArcMap. It may be that the projection info is not being correctly written and a northern hemisphere default value is being used instead. Any ideas? Cheers Mal

We have seen similar problems with ArcMap. Some tif displayed ok in Arcview 3.2 but not in ArcMap which seems to suggest that the bug is in ArcMap. I've also had several tif images(with world header)being "mis-re-registered" by ArcMap on the fly to a false space if I specify the georeferencing info under group/ feature "properties". This problem goes away if I erase the projection info etc. I've posted the question to ESRI and will let you know if any progress.
