Hi, I used the DEM Extraction Modules to extract a DEM from the ASTER L1A data without GCPs, that is a relative DEM. Is the elevation of the DEM relative to the WGS-84 ellipsoid? And if so, how could I convert the elevation to the height relative to EGM96 geoid? Thank you very much. Yuzhe

A relative DEM is one with possible differences in position, scale, and rotation from the geodetic coordinates on the ground (horizontal reference system) and the mean sea level (vertical reference system). You could use the 'world_geoid_height_EGM96.img' file located in the ENVI 'data'directory.

Thank you very much. I have completed the conversion successfully as you said.
