I just upgraded from ENVI 5.0 to sp2, doing a full install on Mac OSX10.7. In 5.0 I used the Landsat Calibration tool to convert Landsat DN to radiance, and noticed that in this version the tool has been integrated into the Radiometric Calibration tool. I loaded a Landsat 7 file using Open As -> Landsat -> Geotiff with Metadata, the RGB image displayed as before. When I tried to use the Radiometric Calibration tool I ran into an issue. In the tool I chose one of the bands of the Landsat file as my input, and clicked OK to access the next screen. There I received an error however: "Item #5: the filename is invalid" after clicking ok at the bottom of the dialogue box. Looking at the tutorial it seems that I should have gotten an option for file saving (folder / filename, as in 5.0) which did not appear when I used the tool.Has anyone else gotten this problem? Are there any fixes for the bug, or should I just try reinstalling? I have screenshots but get an uploading error when I try to attach them to this post. Thanks, Mattias

This is a known issue with the dialog on Mac and Linux. It is addressed in ENVI 5 SP3 which is coming out soon.
