I need to figure out how to interpret the Eigenvector such as which is positive or negative contribution? pleasesuch as this an exaple how to select positive or negative? Eigenvector Band 1 Band 2 Band 3 Band 1 0.612076 0.597507 0.518024 Band 2 0.730008 -0.175049 -0.660640 Band 3 0.304058 -0.782524 0.543328Thanks in advanceHoshmend

Dear Hoshmend, I am afraid that I cannot understand your question. Perhaps it will help if I explain that when the eigenvectors are calculated, the sign (negative or positive) of the contribution from each band is arbitrary. It is the size of the contribution that actually can help you understand which materials may have contributed most to a particular eigenvector. But the signs of those contributions don't carry any meaning. Peg
