In EnVI 5.1, when you run Class Statistics, you will see the area covered by each class in "Class Distribution Summary," with the default unit being meters squared (m^2). You can even go to Options>Class Summary Area Units> and choose different units. When I run 5.3 however, the Class Statistics windows no longer displays m^2 results for each class. Where can I go to easily find these values in 5.3? https://www.dropbox.com/s/wg934vjrhi7o5h9/envi51.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/acgr6113mv7...

I think when they adapted the new statistics dialog in ENVI 5.2, the area calculations were not included. I have asked about this and will create a feature request to add them back in unless they tell me there is another location to get this information. There are two other ways you could find the area: - if you create an ROI of your class (using threshold), you can get the area calculation from the ROI - use the Class statistics from ENVI Classic - also noticed that if you output the text report for class statistics, it will include the area statistics.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have access to both Envi 5.1 and 5.3 so I can go back an forth, but was hoping there was a convenient method in 5.3 that I had overlooked. It would save me a few minutes to put this back in 5.3!
