I have a map of the Saturn moon, Enceladus, and want to project a current map into a Simple Cylindrical Projection. The current map is in East longitudes, and the latitudes are between -90 and 90. Every pixel has a dimension of 1ºx1º in longitude and latitude. Starting from the left bottom: -88 ______________ l l l l -89 l ___ l ___ l___ l l l l l -90 l ___ l ___ l___ l 360 359 358 357 …. What is the best way to go about doing this simple projection? Would I have to edit my hdr file or is there a build in tool that helps do this? Thank you

You can use the Map Coordinate Converter in ENVI (assuming the latest version 5.3). This will bring up all the available projections from the projection engine. These include some planetary projections listed under Geographic Coordinate Systems as well as several predefined cylindrical projections (use the search box and type in 'cylindrical'). If the image is already in this projection and you just need to define it in the header, then use View Metadata->Edit Metadata and add in the Spatial reference. This will bring up the same dialog as above.
