    I get the error message "RpcOrtho failed: Action failed" when I try to use a particular dem in the RPC Orthorectification Workflow. When I use the default dem or aster, it runs without error. If there some certain format the dem needs to be in? How can I find out more about this error, so I can track down the problem? The dem has this mapinfo- map info = {Geographic Lat/Lon, 1.0000, 1.0000, -149.93536332, -17.45823938, 5.6593862900e-06, 5.6070907577e-06, WGS-84, units=Degrees}coordinate system string = {GEOGCS["GCS_WGS_1984",DATUM["D_WGS_1984",SPHEROID["WGS_1984",6378137.0,298.257223563]],PRIMEM["Greenwich",0.0],UNIT["Degree",0.0174532925199433]]}

    It seems to work, if I use classic - map/Orthorectification/WorldView/Orthorectify Woldview. Well for a small spatial subset.

    Does the DEM cover at least the spatial extent of your WorldView image? I believe that is the only requirement for the DEM, but I will find out if there are other requirements as well.

    We are not aware of any specific requirements for the input DEM (including format or data type), other than it should cover the spatial extent of the input image. Have you tried this yet? If you still get the error, I would advise working with technical support directly on this issue. Thanks!

    The WV2 image is slightly larger the the dem (of an Island). I got a message that the dem extent doesn't cover the image, so I took a spatial subset that definitely did. That gave the RpcOrtho Failed message. the subset of the image (that was within the DEM) worked fine in ENVI classic. Thanks for the reply and I will contact tech support.
