I have an image containing spectral data that I would like to colourize the pixels in based on whether certain absorption lines are present, and I have been told that there is a way to do this automatically in ENVI rather than having to manually look at every pixel in the image. Is there a way to do this?

Well, your real problem is that there are lots of ways to do this. How to go about doing this depends on your data, the level of detail you need, etc. So if you can give us some more details about your data and what you're trying to show. Then maybe we will be able to be of more help. Jeff
