Hello. I have two questions regarding a maximum likelihood supervised classification of an Landsat 5 island scene I'm performing. I'm still learning my way around ENVI, so these are basic questions.
1. In performing the classification, how do I 'deaden' or exclude a cloud area so that it is not involved in the classification algorithm, i.e. affects the rest of the image? As it stands now, I have create a separate ROI for the clouds.
2. I just returned from this island and ground truthed ALL the urban areas via GPS (very few urban areas at it's a developing island), which I've plotted onto my Landsat image. How do I keep those actual areas (pixels) as an urban class but prevent any other areas from being classified as urban? Right now the urban areas are their own ROI.
Many thanks,
Michael Borger
