Hi there. This may be really simple, but I'm missing something. I have training data that I want to use for a supervised classification. The map was created in ArcGIS, and I have it in both raster and vector format. It's fairly simple--only 4 classes, and a 4 or 5 polygons per class. The attribute table is simple...just the polygon id's and a number, 1-4, denoting the land type. Can I import these as ROI's, so that I don't have to manually merge them every time? Thanks-- Steve

Yes, this can be done both ways. The easiest way might be to import your vectors, then from the Vector Parameters window export the vectors to ROIs. You will have to specify an image with which to associate the ROIs since ROIs are always related to an image but you can just associate it with the original class image. For raster to vector conversion, import your class image to ENVI (as TIFF, or GRID or some supported format), then go to Vector ->Raster to Vector. You will have to export each class individually. Then do the Vector to ROI conversion as above. Let me know if you have any questions on this.
