Greetings I am trying to run an aircraft hyperspectral dataset through FLAASH. I set the file type to unknown-hsi, then select the input radiance file, and also provide the ASCII center wavelength and fwhm file, defining the columns with the dialog. After doing this, the unknown-hsi switches to unknown-msi sensor type. After filling the remaining model input parameters, then selecting "apply", I get an error opening filter function file message. I have done the same type procedure with an aviris and a hyperion dataset which worked fine. I am guessing that my ascii file is not providing the information in the way that the program expects, although it looks very similar to the aviris wavelength / fwhm file I have used. thanks very much

Did you set the file type back to unknown-hsi?  MSI will require a filter function.  How many bands does your dataset have?  Should it be considered MSI?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, Before hitting the "Apply" Button, I changed the sensor type to "unknown-hsi". Once I hit the apply button, I get the error dialog about not finding the filter function file, and again the sensor type is changed back to unknown-msi. There are 40 bands, from 400 to 800 nanometers with each band having a 10 nm fwhm. I guess that this is being classed as a multispectral sensor?
