hello:) Iam a new envi user and i am trying to use svms for my classification project. The problem is how can i use training sets from different cubes.. short version: extract some classes from cube1, extract some classes from cube2, use all classes for classifing cube2 with svm long version: i use roi tool to determine small regions from cube1 and then save it . Then i do the the same forcube2. When i restore both rois, envi restores all the regions from  the current cube (cube2) and not from thecube1. I have done this numerous times with different cubes, even with different roi tool windows for the 2 cubes, but when i restore regions in one window (for cube1), the regions appear in both displays. Is there another way to do this (very simple) classification task? thank you very much-

ROIs are associated only with the image dimensions of the file on which they were created.  To restore the ROIs onto another image automatically, the second image must have the exact same dimensions.  If they do not, or they cover slightly different geographic regions, then what you need to do is to use "Reconcile ROIs via Map".  This does require both images have a map projection.
