Hi all, I'm currently using the ENVI Zoom Feature Extraction module with SPOT5 images. The images have a projection and fall into the right location within ArcGIS. I went trough the process of segmenting and merging the images until the point where I have to decide, => classify or export the created vector file. I choose, export - give the shapefile a name and include attribute data.... Now, the vector file doens't get any projection and is pixel based, which means I can't add it to the earlier mentioned ArcGIS project. Does anyone no where or how I can give it the same projection and unit as the original image?? Help is more than welcome, merry x-mas, Philipp

What projection is reported in ArcGIS?  If you open the file in ENVI, what projection is reported in the Available Bands List map info icon?  Did you open the file as SPOT DIMAP?  What level of SPOT is your dataset?  If it is 1A it may report the map information as 'pseudo geographic' which isn't a true projection.  In this case, you could use the Orthorectify SPOT tool under the Map menu to georeference the file then import this to ENVI Zoom and run FX.  If the image has a true map projection and not pseudo, then the vectors created should also have the same projection.
