I have used EVF file to remove sea from land data in two ERS scenes. I use the ROI-tool and I subset data through the ROI-EVF file. The result is a subset file (.pwr or slc) with power or magnitude data, but no phase data. Phase data are the important for the interferogram generation. Does anybody know how I can extract only the land data on .slc files of ERS?

A subset should not delete or change any data. Can you provide the specific steps you take to produce this behavior? What format is the data in - has it been converted to ENVI format or is it in its original format? It might be best to contact technical support directly with this question.

I don't think that the ERS satellites collect phase data.
