Hi All, I downloaded this file looking for the lidar toolkit and it doesn't seem to want to run either with the IDL virtual machine, from the IDL workbench, or using idlrt -novm ENVI_LAS.sav. it also doesn't correspond to the files in the Lidar toolkit tutorial video. Does anyone know how to get the lidar toolkit to work? Thanks! Gordon

The lidar toolkit runs within ENVI and creates a new ENVI menu item. You have to have ENVI to run this toolkit.

Ah I see, I didn't have a save_add directory in my config file for ENVI. Adding one and putting the .sav file in it fixed the problem and now I can access the functions. Thanks. Maybe for my fellow "newbies" a readme file or other indication that the instructions for using the download differ from those in the tutorial video would make sense. Thanks again.
