    Hi everyone, I am writing an essay based on ENVI feature extraction tool. About the references, I am searching which kind of algorithm ENVI uses to segment images. I know that the "merging segments" is based on the work from Robinson, Redding and Crisps from 2002 but I do not know how ENVI extract the segments in the previous step. Does anyone know the references about the first segmentation step? Thanks
