Hi, I need some help.  I am trying to import a cliped raster tiff file from ArcGIS 9.3 to ENVI. Does anybody know how to do that? or clip the image in ENVI directly.  My image is bigger than the area I want to analyse. Thank you Colibri

Hi Colibri,  You didn't mention what you tried so my apologies if this is redundant information: From the ENVI main menu bar, select File ? Open External File ? Generic Formats ? TIFF/GeoTIFF. In ENVI speak clipping is referred to as 'subsetting'. You could bring the full image into ENVI and then do a spatial subset. There are a variety of ways to approach this. To find the best method to address your situation have a look at the Help Index under: subsetting   Ciao

Thank you! I did it directly in ENVI.  Cool. I forgot to add the ROI and mask the areas outside of it. Colibri
