Hi everyone. We are new to the ENVI product line and had a quick question. After we are done orthorectifing our satellite image(s)..we wanted to 'export'  those images + dem to create a 3d web 'virtual' model. Could anybody suggest the 'best' software package to use if we wanted to export these items from ENVI via a 'output' file type and load seemlessly into a .vrml creator type program or similiar?   Thank you so much. and sorry for the vagueness and lack or correct jargon! :) Ted     Report Post

I don't know if I could recommend a particular software package but you can create 3D virtual surface in ENVI.  If you have orthorectified your image and have a DEM, you can display your image in a display window and use Tools ->3D SurfaceView.  In the 3d SurfaceView tool, you can manipulate the 3D view and use the File ->Save to VRML to save this view.  Perhaps this may help.
