Dear all, My university has just got licences for the ENVI atmospheric correction module. I was wondering if it was possible to run this module via the IDL vertual machine? Cheers, Matthew

Sorry Matthew, but you're out of luck on this one. I'm not sure if you realize it but ENVI and IDL are quite different animals and thus an ENVI module will not run in IDL especially the Virtual Machine which is free. Typically, ENVI modules are separate enitities but need core ENVI to function correctly. There's a lot of stuff going on under the hood between the atmospheric correction module and ENVI itself that allows this to functionality to work the way it does. If you run that module you will recognize the integration that is in place... Out of curiosity, what made you think this was possible? Did you read or hear about it from someone? Ciao
