    Hi every one I have problem to create a Digital Surface Model and Digital Terrain Model from surfaces represented by digital elevation model. I think we can not creat DSM and DTM from DEM by ENVI. if you have good sugestion please tel me. i will be appreciated if you solve my problem. if my question is not understandable, please follow this link.     ENVI does not provide tools that are designed to convert a DEM to a DSM or DTM. I'm not sure exactly how that could be done. A DEM does not contain any information about objects on the surface. It just contains elevation information. So if you want to add information about objects on the surface (either to remove their effects from the DEM, or to add them), you would need to get that information from somewhere besides the DEM.
