Hi folks, I've the contours in AutoCAD (.dxf) file and wish to create DEM. I first converted the .dxf into .evf and then used Topographic> Convert contours to DEM tool. But the system is not allowing me to change the DEM Output Parameters with ENVI Error “Attempt to call undefined procedure/function:’ENVI_GRID_PARAM_EVENT’.” What should be done? I really appreciate your help. Cheers, Simit

Did you add elevation attributes to your EVF file? ENVI does not import attributes from a DXF and they are required to generate contours: From the ENVI help: The vector data must be an ENVI vector format (.evf) file. The .evf file must contain an attribute that defines the elevation of each vector contour line. If you believe your vector file to be appropriate for this tool, then you might contact Technical Support directly so they can work with your data directly.
