Hi, I am very new ENVI user. I have a problem with converting shp/evf file to ROI and can't figure out what might actually goes wrong. Suppose, I have a vector file containing 15 polygons (entries) as a set of training areas. Once I am trying to convert given vector file into ROI, it turns out only some entries are converted to ROI not all 15 are converted. I checked if there was something to do with mismatched coordinate or projection systems but everything was okay. Please help Chon Poosuwan

This doesn't sound like a known problem. It's impossible to tell what is going wrong just from this description. I think you will need to contact ITT VIS tech support, or your local distributor, to untangle what is going wrong. Sorry, there are a lot of variables in this problem. If you contact tech support, it would be good to send your shapefile or EVF file, if possible, and information about exactly which settings you are choosing when converting it to ROI, and exactly what is wrong with the output. It may also help to know what projection the data is in, and which version of ENVI you are using. Screen shots may be helpful if you cannot send the data. - Peg
