How might the local circumstance affect the choice of remote sensing system (RSS) and consequently the criteria of the required image in case of earthqauke? The characteristics of stricken area (by earthquake): 1. large city 2. the city is in developing country, 3. has a relatively modern city centre, 4. has large areas of high density, 5. Has Informal suburban housing on its outskirts. 6. Has several outlying towns were also affected. 7. There was no reliable digital geospatial data documenting the city's urban. 8. Building damage has been mapped on the ground by recovery teams equipped with differential Global Positioning System (GPS) units in some areas. Could you please indicate the best RSS and image criteria for this case Thank you Regards Jamal
