Hi, I'm having problems calibrating some Landsat ETM+scenes downloaded via EarthExplorer. The imagefile contains 9 bands (B10, B20, B30, B40, B50, B61, B62, B70 & B80) but ENVI's "Spectral --> Preprocessing --> Calibration Utilities --> Landsat TM" gives an error message saying it can only handle up to 7 bands. I've tried to do a spectral subset of 7/9 of the bands and i've also tried and "restacked" the images to contain only 7 bands. With the restacked images i can begin the calibration (selecting the ratio button ETM+ 7) but ENVI gives an error message telling me that it can't read the Gain/Offset data, although the MTL-file is copied into the same folder. Any suggestions on how i can solve this? (Preferrably without doing everything manually in band math..) I'm using ENVI 4.3. Any ideas are welcome, thanks for reading. // Marcus

I guess you can input each band one by one to do calibration, and use LMin and LMax value.

Hi Marcus, B61 and B62 is thermal band B80 in panchromatic band Stack the B10, B20, B30, B40, B50 and B70 bands and calibrate. Calibrate B61 and B62 separately if required (if you want to use thermal band). In the same way calibrate B80 (panchromatic band) separately. As I know it is not possible to calibrate all the bands in a single time. Regards, Partha Ghosh
