Hi I am new to envi and have been working on an urban landscape classification. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for the ground truthing process. I know that you typically use ROI's from known areas of each class and then run the confusion matrix in the post classification tools, but what I don't understand is how to determine an adequate sample size of known areas for each class. I'd appreciate any help you can offer.
