Hi all, I would like to generate image contrast relative to particular spectral bands, band intensities, and/or areas under the curve of a couple bands. My dataset is from Raman data (e.g. one spectrum/pixel) and I am trying to figure out if ENVI has anything built in to do this automatically and, if it doesn't, is there any IDL code out there to do this sort of thing? Thanks in advance, Chris

Dear Chris, I may not be understanding what you are asking, but it seems to me that what ENVI naturally does when it displays an image is show brightnesses based on the pixel values in the wavelength band for that image. Which I think sounds like the same thing as adjusting contrast based on spectral bands. Is that what you are looking for? So, the brightness of a pixel corresponds to the intensity of the return (reflectance, or whatever) for that pixel. If you are looking for something different, perhaps it might help if you tried explaining it in a different way? - Peg
