I have 2 Landsat images of the same area taken within 2 weeks of each other. Clouds appear in different places for both so I would like to over lay the cloud free area of image 1 onto image 2 and vice-versa, so the overlayed image is cloud free. Does anyone know how to do this? Many thanks.

I would draw ROIs on both images of the areas you want to keep, then create a mask from the ROIs and apply the mask to each dataset so that only the areas you want to keep are displayed in both. Then mosaic the two files setting the background value to ignore to 0 (or whatever your mask area value is).
