Hi all,
I am postgraduate student which done research on cloud classification. I have some problem regarding on classification technique in ENVI. I want to use neural network classifier provided in ENVI 4.7. However, there appear some error after the processing. Can anyone help me?

Hi nurul,
Can you tell us more? It would be especially helpful to know what the error message says. Then, depending on that, I may have more questions for you.

Hi,
Thanks for your attention. For your information I am doing research on cloud. I want to classify the cloud into 7 classes from AVHRR images by using neural network classifier. I had finished all pre processing and also create roi for each sample. For the first time I only use default setting of the function and here the error appear:
envi_neural_net_doit: An error has occurred during processing
Error: "Operands of matrix multiply have incompatible dimensions: , ."
The result may be invalid.
can you please tell me the difference between logistic and hyperbolic activation in neural network function.
Thank you.

Is your data in BIP interleave? I have seen this error if the input data is BIP. Try changing the interleave to BIL or BSQ using Basic Tools->Convert Data.

Morning All,
I'm interested in using the NNC to classify particular plant species from TIFF imagery. I have the imagery and have created a number of ROI's as training datasets that I want to detect in the imagery. However when running the NCC I get an error
Error : Array dimensions must be greater than 0.
What does this error mean and how can a circumnavigate it.
Regards.
Jeremy.
