Hi, I am working with L5 TM and P6 LISS III. I intend to aplly FLAASH in the images. So, the input image in FLAASH is radiance. For Landsat 5 TM I can do this directly on ENVI menu (calibration utilities) filling the solar elevation and date parameters. But for P6 LIS III there aren't any directly option (I guess). So, I can calculate the radiance from DN using the equation: Lmin + [(Lmin + Lmax)*Qcal/Qcalmax] This equation will return a radiance image. But, in the equation above there aren't correction for solar elevation angle and in the calibration utilities menu applied on L5 TM I think that this effect is compensated. Then, my doubt is: The radiance image input for FLAASH should be corrected for solar elevation? Tahnk you, Elias

Those parameters are specific to converting Landsat to radiance. Every sensor can be different and you will need to make sure of the units of the conversion. It would be best to contact the data provider and ask for the appropriate equation to convert your LISS data to radiance and what the units the data will be in. FLAASH expects the data to be in uW/cm^2*sr*nm and you have to specify a scale factor for the input data to get it into these units.
