It sounds like ENVI may be doing something wrong when it reads your data. This is probably not an issue that can be resolved here over the forum. I recommend that you contact Tech Support directly. You can reach them at support@exelisvis.com or (303) 413-3920, or via your local ENVI distributor. If you can send your file to tech support, that should allow Exelis VIS to track down the problem, and hopefully fix it, or perhaps figure out how to work around it.
