Hi, I'm new to ENVI but am familiar with the IDL MAP_SET commands used to create an orthographic map of the globe and display it. So I have a very basic question. How does one go about creating and displaying such a map in ENVI. I found some online docs about creating an empty image and then defining a map projection for that image. I did this and picked "Create World Boundaries" (Under the ENVI "Vector" Menu). But the results do not look correct. It's not Orthographic and only the Map is visible on the top half of the image window. Is there a simple(r) way to just put up an orthographic map of the entire globe (centered at 0 North, 0 East) on an image window? Thanks for any pointers, Mike
