In ENVI 5, I've been able to view attributes, select a record and see the associated vector, and color-code the vectors based on an attribute. Can I do a SQL query of a vector attribute table? This was possible in earlier versions of ENVI, and is pretty critical for my users.

This is not currently available in ENVI 5 but is schedule to be implemented in a future release. You can use the ENVI 5 Classic interface to do this for now.

Hi -- I hope that this is a fairly high priority for ENVI, as I suspect that it's one of the more important analytical tools for remote sensing. cheers, pete
