    Hi, Do I need to convert raw QuickBird data (which is relative reflectance) to reflectance before running the tool TRANSFORM > NDVI? Or is ENVI doing that by itself? Thanks!

    There is some debate in the community on this issue. If you do a literature search, you may find some discussion of whether you need to correct your data to reflectance before calculating NDVI. Because of this, ENVI's tool under Transform > NDVI does not include a conversion to reflectance. You would need to correct to reflectance before running that tool. - Peg

    Thank you Peg. Now, to correct to reflectance, shoudl I use FLAASH or QUAC?
