Hello,
I am trying to perform cutline feathering in ENVI 5. the tool requires a .ann file, however, ENVI 5 seems to only save annotation in .anz format. is there a way to convert anz to ann, or perhaps a way to get the mosaic tool to read .anz?

At this time, there is no way to use an .ANZ annotation file in the ENVI Classic mosaic tool. We hope to address this in a future version of ENVI. For now, you would need to create the annotation in ENVI Classic to use as a cutline in the mosaic tool.

Hello,
I am facing the same problem: I have two Landsat images i need to cut of a tilted black bar and then combine both scenes togehter. How can I create a usable cutline?

As I stated in my previous response, you can use ENVI Classic to create the .ann file and mosaic in this interface. We are in the process of developing a new mosaic tool that will accept .anz files as cutlines in the new interface.
