Hello, I am sorry for bad terminology, but my first language is not english and i am not an envi specialist. I have: 1) 254 colors used for ROIs in colors50.txt 2) 1000+ ROIs, which consist 1 pixel and 1 point each 3) ROIs have 8 bands each I need to assign different colors to ROIs based on their band values. How can i do it, spending adequate amount of time? So far i see that the only way is to do it manually one by one. What i've done: 1) Exported ROIs to ASCII format. 2) Calculated required colors in excel based on our methodology. 3) Made a list which have 2 columns: ROI NAME and required color. Required color, from ENVI point of view, is absolutely random. What kind of help i probably need: 1) Some kind of macro in ENVI which will assign colors automaticly to ROIs based on ASCII or xls format files. or 2) A way to import many ROIs from ASCII separately with assigned colors, i e without making 1 big ROI from 1000 small ones. Please help me, you are my only hope. Sincerely yours, Alexander.

Hi Alexander, Tall order and it looks like you will need to set up a program to handle the work. Maybe there is another way to look at this. What exactly is the result supposed to show? Also, given the number of colors you have can you actually tell the difference between the ones that look similar?
