Hi, I finished my classification task and have now a bunch of images (grayscale) that are overlapping each other in various ways. During the classification process I solved the issue that ENVI considers areas that hold no data, and are the result of turning an image during the rectification process, by applying a data range mask. Now I would like to mosaic my classification results and have the same problem here. the edges are all in white and I have no need for them. I know I can deal with those areas creating an annotation layer. However, I have already a mask for every image and how should I create the annotation? Click all around the pixels? I haven't found a way to convert the mask into an annotation layer. To illustrate my problem: click here I can export the mask into ROI or EVF or DXF but there is no way to import either of theses formats to get an annotation. Is there the possibility to simply use the mask I already created? Thomas

If your mask is of the background pixels then you should be able to set the mask value to a unique value that does not exist in your classification. Then set this value as the Data Ignore Value in the ENVI Header.
