Hello, I'm having problems trying to correct MERIS data via FLAASH. The image is a MER_RR__1P (calibrated TOA radiance). I'm using ENVI 4.8 and FLAASH doesn't have MERIS on Sensor Type's list. The thing is, even if I use the UNKNOWN MSI sensor option FLAASH will require a Filter Function (.sli) file and there's no MERIS on the avaible list. So, after georeferencing the image and converting the interleave, I've tried using MODIS on Sensor Type and alsoUNKNOWN MSI + modis.sli (witch must be pretty much the same thing). I've also sorted the VIS bands and tried again but the results were the same, a blank image with absurdly high pixel values. And doesen't matter how I change or lower the Scale Factor, the results and pixel values are always the same. So the question is, how can I correct a MERIS (RR 1P) on FLAASH (of course, if there's a way) and, that being the case, witch Scale Factor should be used? Thanks in advance, André Lima

MERIS is not the same sensor as MODIS and it will require its own filter function. This website might help you find the spectral response function which will need to be converted into an ENVI spectral library format. http://calvalportal.ceos....guest/enivisat-meris Alternately, use Quac which is a very good alternative if you do not have all the necessary parameters for FLAASH.

Thanks for your atention I was aware that MODIS and MERIS were different, I was just trying to find the best option to correct MERIS data. I'll try your hint. On QUAC, the 'Unknown' sensor type is more fitting to MERIS? Thanks again.

Yes, you will want to use Unknown for the sensor type. Setting the sensor will tell QUac to only use specific bands from that sensor to calculate the endmembers, otherwise it will use all bands.

Hello, can you please tell me from where have you downloaded MERIS data? is there any way to download the MERIS FR data?
