In creating GLTs, we notice that on some of our platforms (Linux) there are files named env*.tmp-bsq that get created in temp directories (/tmp unless this is changed). Whereas on Mac (Intel, 64 bit) running Lion, despite doing a search while GLTs are being made, we don't find such a file, even in /tmp. Question: on a Mac, are temporary files such as env*.tmp-bsq created? If not, why are they created under Linux?
