Hi experts,
every time I try to open landsat-7 ETM+ data like this:
File>open external file>Landsat>geotiff with metadata
The scene bands appear in the available band list, but when trying opening any band I recieve the following error message along with a black image display:
ENVI Retrieve Data: An error has occurred during processing
Error:"Point_LUN: variable is undefined unit." the result may be invalid
I need your help in this problem

Do these bands exist (with these names) in the same directory as the _mtl.txt (metadata) file you opened?

It sounds like ENVI is trying to display the bands specified in the metadata but it cannot find them.

I found that file names have been changed; and I rename them using the MTL file names
Now every thing works well
