I have two files: a landsat tile (ENVI standard) and a training dataset (ENVI classification filetype). The landsat envi standard file is currently a larger extent than the training dataset. For use in a separate program (EnMap-Box), I need the two files to be the same extent. Below are the procedures I have tried to achieve this...and the outcome of each. Using ROIs to subset both datasets: This didn't work because if an ROI is created for one raster is not able to be used by another (i.e. if I create an ROI for tha landsat image, I cannot then use t to subset the training data image). Using a shapefile --> evi file to subset them. First I imported a shapefile of the maximum extent of the larger image (landsat)....saved it as .evi file. When subsetting the smaller image to this larger extent - it doesn't work...it maintains the minimum 'max extent' where cells have values. I then attempted this with the smaller raster...i.e. subset the larger raster by the smaller ...and looking at the ENVI hdr information it just doen't work. Would anyone be able to provide any instructins about how to succesfully do this?? I thank you in advance. Kind Regards Rebecca

In the ROI Tool dialog, use Reconcile ROIs to apply ROIs defined in one image size to different sized images. Note: When using Reconcile ROIs, ROIs can only be reconciled to images with the same pixel size as the original image. To reconcile ROIs to an image with a different pixel size, use Reconcile ROIs via Map.
