I am running ENVI 5.0.2 and cannot find the Landsat Gapfill tool that used to be in the Pre-Processing menu in Classic. I saw no mention of it being removed in the service pack notes, does anyone know where it may have wandered off to?

The landsat gapfill tool is not a native tool to ENVI. It is an add-on that was created to work in ENVI and not supported by Exelis VIS. Unfortunately, the code library routine "Landsat gapfill" is not currently availabile. If you had it in a previous version, you might look in that version of ENVI in the save_add directory (under ENVIxx\save_add) and copy it to your new version of ENVI.

I just checked all my machines and it looks like the extension didn't make it. I wouldn't suppose anyone might still have a copy of it?

Unfortunately, it is currently unavailable from our website. We are working to resolve this matter but do not havea timeline as to when this will be resolved.

I had found a copy of it from the folks at The Yale Center for Earth Observation who created a tutorial file for it (http://www.yale.edu/ceo/D...t_ETM_Gap_Fill.pdf). I wouldn't suppose there would be a way to make it available for anyone else who may need it?

I was able to find the .sav file with some effort. If you go to this tutorial on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsWI6ZTf9pA there is a link to a google doc page with the file. The tutorial is for ENVI 4.7, but I think it will work for 5.0, and for sure with 4.8. -jonathon
