Hi I have geoeye-1 imagery of the area. There is a tonal variation in the image between the top images and bottom images. How can I color balance the imagery? I am using ENVI 5.0 I tried to attach the snapshot but unable to do so. Regards Yask

You description seems to indicate that this variation is within one single image so it could be normal for that situation. Colour balancing is typically done through mosaicking so if you wanted to do that you would need to split the image in 2 , mosaic it back together and try colour balancing that way.

Hi No I have two images. one image acquired in 2009 and another in 2010. Both show variation in the colors. Yask

In ENVI Classic you can try the Histogram Matching tool found on the display group menu bar and see if you can balance the colours that way.
