Hi, I'm building composite images using ENVI Band Math. The average composite was easy to do but now I'm trying to figure out a way to create a Maximum NDVI composite, and it seems to be too complicated to do with Band Math. Or is it? Has anyone found out a way to create maximum composites in ENVI? Jukka

I thought u want to max ndvi from 7 ndvi layers. You can figure it out in ERDAS as well as ENVI.Just you go to model maker in ERDAS and go to max command.Use this command MAX ( $n1_ndvi161_00 , $n2_ndvi169_00 ) like this u enter all the layers.it will give one output which has max ndvi from all the images in pixel basis. Also u can use this command in ENVI band math. If u want one ndvi layer which has max ndvi,u need to modify the command in band math.Good luck. Try this.If u need further help u can mail me(India)-bikash_rp@rediffmail.com
