Hi all
I have two images, one from Landsat 7 and one from Landsat 8. Due to the time of acquisition, the intensities for each are different. Is there any module in Envi that allows me to adjust the radiometric fidelity of one image in reference of another?
Thanks!
Regards
Corse

You would want to first perform radiometric calibration and perhaps an atmospheric correction to get the data as close as possible to surface reflectance. Even with good calibration and atmospheric correction, you can have differences in overall brightness in the images. In these cases, you can use Histogram Matching in ENVI Classic to try and balance the images.

Morning All,
I have a similar issue. I want to normalize one tiff image to another to reduce brightness differences. Is this possible with Flat Field Correction ?
Regards.
Jeremy.

Following on from this. FFC does work, however it saves the output file in a format that can't be read by ENVI or MapInfo. It is supposed to be a tif but ENVI complains that it isn't even when I try and load it as with ENVI's generic formats. What does FCC save the output file as and why can't ENVI display it ?
