Dear friends,
I am trying to use FLAASH to extract the Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) from MOD02HKM (MODIS L1B product) at 500 m resolution. When setting the parameters for the aerosol retrieval it runs well but there is no aerosol output file!
Does FLAASH only correct the image for the aerosol without extracting a separate estimated aerosol layer? Has anyone tried extracting aerosol from MOD02HKM using FLAASH?

FLAASH corrects for aerosols. It does not produce an aerosol product for viewing.

Since it has been confirmed that FLAASH doesn't produce aerosol file for viewing, I want to enquire if there is any tool that can be use to generate Aerosol from MODIS or LANDSAT 8 data on ENVI Software.
Pls, I need a detailed answer if possible.

I also what to make enquiry on how to simulate Aerosol Optical Thickness and Top of Atmosphere Reflectance from surface reflectance data using MODTRAN4
