I am trying to mosaic four bands of the same spatial extent, each one has no data as NaN, and good data as float. Each area with data was masked before , and now (after certain operations on the good data) I am trying to put them back again (If all NaN areas were put together, they complete the image). Mosaic resulted is always a NaN image . I set the data ignore value as NaN. How can I get the data values instead?Tried to add these four bands (band math), still the result is the same. Is there another way around? Or is there something missing in what I am doing? Thanks

What version of ENVI are you using? I found a reported bug in ENVI 5.0.3 with Mosaicking and NaN values that was fixed in ENVI 5.1. You could use Layer Stacking to stack the bands back into a single file.

I am using an older version; ENVI 4.8+IDL. I replaced the NaN with 0.0. Then Mosaic data ignore value worked. Will try layer stacking as you have suggested. thanks. Also have ENVI 5.0, but it takes a long time to load, like ArcGIS. Not using it much.
