Hello, I used the QUAC module on a Landsat TM image and just was curious what the output values are. The original data was in DNs from 0-255 for each band. The output has a huge range, different for each band. The range is from 0-50,741 for band 3, for example. Thank you!

The output from Quac and FLAASH is scaled integer reflectance. In both methods, the output is scaled by 10000. So to get % reflectance, you can use Band math and divide the result by 10000.

I just wanted to double check I have this right - for my TM image with the QUAC applied, a pixel value of 5000 in the green band would be equivalent to 0.5% reflectance (and not 5% reflectance). A factor of 1000 is making sense with my data (i.e. difference between 7% uncorrected and 5% corrected), but a factor of 10000 doesn't (7% versus 0.5%).
