Hi, I am processing a stack of Sentinel 1 radar images in Sarscape 5.2 in the second step of PS stacking an error comes out complaining FILE NOT FOUND referring to file: master......_slc_list_pwr_orb_hdr. I understand it is an orbital parameter file in "old" format. Such file is not generated during the process. Only file master...._slc_list_pwr_orb.sml is generated. Is it me doing something wrong? Thanks for any help.

Dear Kristina,

I think the missing *.hdr file is likely to be a false lead. I think it is a file that SARscape itself should be generating earlier in the process, and the fact that it is missing means that something has gone wrong before the step when it then looks for that file. I don't know what might be going wrong, but there are a couple of things that I would recommend in general:

1. Sentinel-1 data have extremely long filenames and directory names. Sometimes SARscape has problems with this. I recommend copying your Sentinel data into a directory path that uses relatively short directory names, so the whole path is much shorter than the original path to the Sentinel-1 data.

2. Sometimes problems like this can happen if you are running SARscape as a regular user and not as administrator. I recommend that when you start the ENVI session, you choose Start > All Programs > ENVI 5.2 > 64-bit then right click on ENVI + IDL (64-bit) and choose "run as administrator".

Let me know if neither of those works. In that case, you may need to contact Harris tech support or your local distributor direction to track down what is going wrong.

Regards,

Peg
