Hello, I've run a couple of times the feature extraction module (example based) for a 3 Landsat 8 image mosaic and while running the classifications (SVN) I'm getting the same error: invalid object reference )>. I've seen that there are two more threats but related to ROI creation so not really sure what is happening. Not sure about the internal processing while running the algorithm but as it happens just after starting the process it might be also related. Guess that the first internal step is to organize the selected areas in ROIs and organize the attributes for classification. Any ideas? I'm using ENVI 5.3 Thanks!

<p>I have seen this error come up frequently on Mac machines for no discernable reason. But the good news is that the problem can often be minimized by running ENVI with the -outofprocess flag set. Check out this help article for information about how that works:</p> <p>"Working around crashes to the OS using the -outofprocess flag"</p> <p>http://www.exelisvis.com/...-Flag.aspx</p> <p>The behavior reported in that help article is different than what you are seeing, but I think running ENVI in this way might help you.</p> <p>- Peg</p>
